  • It is just a movie theater right? Nope its an entertainment destination Ciniplex has been busy trying to be an entertainment destination and bring fun and value beyond first run movies. They have an arcade, they offer a free entertainment magazine, they offer a food court, an online digital rental service and a rewards card called SCENE. With little competition they are pretty much the market share owner. That doesn't justify the high food prices either citing business economics but the large buildings surely have high hydro and heating bills. What they are great at doing is bringing other entertainment ideas to the mix. There are various opera, concerts, special run documentaries and events to the mix. They also have invested in the latest screen and sound presentation technologies that add to the enjoyment factor.
