Great food! Nice cozy spot. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service! Which is why i gave it 3 stars. But lets talk about the food. Had the carpaccio and mussels for appetizers. So good! For our entree we had the filet mignon (cooked perfectly) with mushroom risotto was perfectly cooked but was a little bland, and a side of grilled asparagus. There's nothing like the taste of grilled veggies. Nom nom nom. The BF got the duck with fried yucca balls smooth n creamy just like a gnocchi.
Service: for a highly raved and the amount of money we are willing spend.. I expected the service to be at least good. I don't like writing bad reviews but the service was so poor. It was our first time there and the waitress didn't go over the menu like she did with the other customers. I remember saying we're not sure what to order because it was our first time.. And her response was "oh, I'll give you a minute and I'll come back". Once we ordered, Not once did she ask if we wanted another glass of wine. Our glasses were taken away from us before we could order another drink.. Seriously? Whenever she'd ask us "how is everything?".. And before we could really answer she would walk away and she did this more than several times throughout dinner. She seemed very disinterested in serving us and I'm not pretentious by any means.. But seriously??? It was not an enjoyable experience... The food was amazing but the service just ruined it. I DON'T THINK I'LL BE GOING BACK.
1 star for service, 4 stars for food..
