  • Would rate a 3.7 if I could Been going here for a year before moving away after leaving lifetime fitness since it was too expensive for my needs and I like this place way more than la fitness. The gym is somewhat expensive, but I saw a deal online that allowed me to waive the sign up fee but it was 44 per month and then in the middle of the month i got a mail saying it increase to 49 a month Gym: Is like half regular gym, half crossfit, half which I really like. They have a cycling room and a mirror room but I personally didnt use those much. There is no pool unfortunately and they have a basketball court but it is half court. Equipment: Everything is in good condition, only a few treadmills would be out of order some of the times and the crossfit area bars have tape on them which is annoying because the residue gets on your hands. I really liked this gym for the eclectic equipment. They had things other gyms dont just because of the half crossfit part they try to incorporate. Bathrooms: My favorite part of the gym since most gyms have tile floors that build up hair or get moldy but the floors at mountainside are wood and very clean. The showers are nice and there are a ton of bathroom stalls even in the mens bathroom and they have qtips and lotion and hair dryers. They also have a tanning booth (idk) , steam room, and sauna. The workers also tidy the locker room up which is a huge plus cuz some people are lazy and leave towels instead of putting it into the bin themselves. Clientele: I include this because I think it matters at a gym. The equipment is always spread out because people dont put things back and workers are usually busy training people rather than cleaning up after clientele. A lot of gym rats and people that care about their fitness. I go 5x a week and I see the same people over and over again and know who they are but actually never said hi, awkward. Parking is a nightmare 5pm-6pm which is when I always go after work. People just make due by illegally parking somewhere and nobody checks. It also gets very busy and sometimes you will have to wait ~10 minutes for a treadmill if you solely want to use a treadmill. Staff: The staff were always super nice to me and cancellation took like 2 minutes without any problems. Some people care about them saying hi and bye to you, I dont but they do that fyi.
