| - I was walking back to my car from EWC and noticed this nail salon and figured it was my lucky day, seeing as nail salon was next on my list of things to do. I'm not familiar with the area so I was about to look on yelp for recommendations! Well... when I walked in, I told them what I needed - pedi and mani but I need to remove my gel polish. There weren't too many people in there. They tell me it'll be $50: $30 pedi and $20 mani! No problem! So I get seated in the pedi chair... They put the foil wrapper things on my fingernails and put this cushion on my lap which impeded my view of the pedi process. So anyway, to that point, everything was fine.
The pedi lasted about 35 mins... The guy gets up and goes away when he's done, doesn't ask me to look at it or anything. I notice almost 10 mins later that he didn't come back! Still have these foil things on my fingertips, sitting in this chair but guy didn't say anything, just dipped! So I start looking around for him. The guy doing a pedi for the customer next to me says "your nails gotta soak little bit." I'm like they've been soaking now going on 50 mins! I'm not kidding when I tell you, TWENTY-FIVE minutes after my pedicure was completed did they have me get out of that chair to get my mani done, so my nails were in those foils for about an hour! I was very annoyed but I kept my cool. And I still needed a mani. But I had decided I wasn't going to get color anymore because by then I just wanted to leave! And what made me even more upset was that I heard them apologize to another girl and ask her to wait 15 mins! Why couldn't I get that courtesy earlier instead of having me just SIT THERE?!
To make matters worse, I see my pedicure and it looks horrible! And of course the dude is long gone, they're so busy at this point and I would have had to wait an eternity to get it fixed! Then the lady who filed my nails filed them wrong and tried to blame me, and I literally had to tell myself to not say anything on order to continue to stay calm. And she didn't even completely remove the pink polish I had on before... They painted clear over it! I understand I should have made sure they did it right, but if they offer quality services, they should have done it right!! And I was so unhappy at the time I would not have been able to maintain a professional demeanor so I just opted to remain silent. And how do you mess up CLEAR POLISH?! The guy who ended up doing my finger polish probably doesn't usually work there or do nails at all, because his hands were shaking. And even the way he held the bottle and brush, I nearly offered to do it myself! And he took SO LONG! But yea, believe it or not, they screwed up the most basic mani pedi ever! I was SO ANGRY! Not worth the money I paid, and definitely not worth a tip!! NEVER AGAIN!
