  • After reading my review the manager called me. "Nick's" manager reached out to me to apologize. He states the price is a "book price" and Nick tried to help me by calling him to approve lower the price. The reps are required to ask about the annual membership. I do appreciate the call! They do care about their reputation with their customers. Beware of this company trying to take advantage of your pockets! I have a clogged toilet from my son putting paper towels in there. My husband tried several remedies including snaking, an auger, and chemicals. Nothing seem to be doing the job. I called the night before and they had somebody out by noon the next day. The customer service representative at the call center was very polite. They try to sell you an annual membership for $165. Their diagnostic fee is $49 just to come out to the house to assess the situation. You pay this fee regardless of any work that they perform. The guy showed up on time and was very polite. He looked at the toilet and said for $215 he will TRY to unclog it by using an auger, which my husband already had and had tried doing that, and if that didn't work he was going to have to take the toilet apart which was going to cost more in ADDITION to the $215. No way was I going to pay that much money for a non-guaranteed job and something my husband already tried. We had chemicals sitting there overnight so we knew it needed to be augured again and that was it. As soon as the guy left I was going to try the auger again that I had already purchased at Home Depot for $10. As I was escorting him out he turned around at the door and asked me how much I'm willing to pay? I told him $100. Which even then was generous. He said let me call my boss and ask him. His boss agreed to $100. He said if it doesn't work I'll only be charged the $49 diagnostic fee. Well guess what, the auger worked! He also tried to sell me the annual membership. Ugh! I do not appreciate the pushy sales and the price gouging. I do not recommend this company and I will not use them again. I feel like this company tried to take avantage of me because I'm a woman and I have something that needed to be fixed. It needed to be fixed but I'm not desperate. I had the money to pay the $215 but that was not the point. They tried to take advantage of me.
