| - Below is the previous review I left for Axiom spa, but since Manette parted ways, I felt like I needed to make an update to my review. (Of course I followed her to her new location)
The only reason I ever came to this location was because of the independent contractors that worked out of the "spa". I was a loyal client for the last two years, every two weeks (no joke). Personally, I think the only thing wrong with this business, is the business owner herself. I had the misfortune of witnessing her speak to her "employees" in a condescending, and inappropriate manner almost every time I had the misfortune of being there when she was on site. I pay a pretty penny to have my lashes fixed, I've never been late, cancelled, or otherwise; having your lash artist be forced to answer the phone while they are doing your lashes, because the owner won't hire a receptionist is deplorable. You know what that did? It took away from MY TIME, and MY MONEY, and it would cause stress on my lash artist. How is she supposed to book appointments when she's WORKING? She would have to go over on time, or wouldn't be able to use the time she had as efficiently, if there were someone there to answer the phone. These are independent contractors, not personal assistants. Also, rather than hire a cleaning company, she also relied on her independent contractors to do the cleaning. What kind of business owner does that? I had to listen to Theresa (the owner) talk about how she was so good at lashes, and eyebrows... blah, blah... She was the first person I went to, and they were terrible - that's why she doesn't do lashes.
If you're looking for good work, obviously there are some good independent contractors left, but I would search elsewhere.
***I've been going to Manette for more than a year and a half now, and I wouldn't imagine going to anyone else for eyelash extensions. I've been getting my lashes done for almost three years now, and out of everyone that I've gone to, Manette is the best. You have to sit with your artist for an hour or more, so you have to LIKE them as well as their work. Over time, I've come to get to know about her life, as well as talk about mine. You develop a personal relationship with the people who take care of you, and I know that she truly cares about the well-being of my lashes, and my life. I highly recommend Manette for all of you lash care needs!! ****
