  • Don't understand what all the good reviews are about. I feel like I may have gotten a waffle made from a bad batch of batter. The waffle had a terrible texture - like chewing gum that has been left out to harden. It's not quite hard but it's not soft either. There wasn't a nice crisp crust and a soft inside that waffles should have. He waffle also tasted more like sugar than anything else. The saving grace was the ice cream, but even that didn't blow me away as I'm not particularly a fan of Dave and Andy's. I want to give them another chance, but for $8 for two scoops of ice cream and a bad waffle, I probably won't be back soon.
