Had the worst online purchasing experience with Henry's today. On April 12th I ordered a light kit - that was apparently only available online. Once I ordered it, it then said it would ship in 3 - 4 weeks - if I had known that before ordering I wouldn't have ordered it, that was supposed to be a birthday present in April. Four weeks went by and I kept checking online and it said it hadn't shipped yet. Last week I finally emailed customer service to find out what was happening with my order and TODAY - 5 weeks after placing the order I get an email saying "the product I ordered is no longer available and my order has been cancelled and the pre-authorization placed on my credit card at the time the order was placed will expire shortly. We apologize for this inconvenience."
I am so upset that it took them 5 weeks to tell me this, and that was only after I followed up with an email. It's the worst Customer Service I've ever experienced.
Couldn't they suggest another light kit and give me some kind of incentive to purchase from them? So what is this, they think they have the market on camera equipment so they just brush off their customers not realizing that because of this we will never buy from them again and when you're talking camera equipment they will be out thousands of dollars over the next few years.
We are going to shop at Vistek from now on because I ordered something from them the same day as the order for Henry's and it was delivered 2 days later - a day earlier than they promised!
