| - In an effort to prevent anyone from having to deal with the abysmal customer service and overall company policy of Vivint Solar, I want to share our story. After lots of up front friendliness, once our solar panels went live in March, 2016 things took a turn for the worse. The solar panels were not functional for a month in June as well as another week in July, the company had no idea and it was APS that notified me. After hours and hours on the phone, to ask for reimbursement given that they charged us in spite of not having any electricity from them for five weeks, and we had to pay APS for the electricity we used, they said they will reimburse us at the end of the year. When we told them it was very difficult financially for them to charge us for energy not rendered, they basically shrugged. When we held the payment for the month of August, their response was that we were in breech of contract and they would take legal action if we did not pay. I understand the reason behind a contract, so avoid a day in court, we will have to pay for electricity they never provided. I would hope to spare any of you this experience and ask you to share and repost so that others can hopefully avoid the terrible experience we have had dealing with Vivint Solar!
