24 hours later, I had Cara's lashes removed. I could write a really long review, but I'll just use bullet points:
- Cara's business is NOT 10300 W Charleston. She actually works out of her home, but didn't tell me until I called to say the salon receptionist said she isn't employed there. On Groupon and Yelp she advertises her business as being in the salon. I consider this deceptive and I would have never purchased the Groupon had I known I'd be going to her home.
- Her home is not in the best area.
- Her home smells vaguely of marijuana. I thought I was confusing the smell with something else (like maybe weird incense), until she told me that her boyfriend works with marijuana.
- Her home smell clung to my hair, clothes, and purse after I left.
- I'm unsure how clean she keeps her "salon," as I didn't notice her change the blankets or pillow case while the next client was standing in the room with me.
- I asked for very natural lashes and she gave me very thick, party-style lashes.
- The technician who removed Cara's lashes told me she used a poor quality/thick lash and glued them too close to my skin.
Her Groupon price is a deal, yes, but not worth the trouble of being in her home and having skin irritating lashes.
