| - Matthew & the crew are great. The customer service shown to me was amazing - Matthew displayed patience, care and concern with helping me. The staff were quick and efficient in fixing my battery ground and I will definitely go back for any future needs.
Backstory for anyone interested...
Monday 11/7 - I must have looked like a crazy person entering the shop asking for help since my car began to have a mind of its own earlier that morning. About an hour beforehand, my car nearly stalled in the middle of a left turn onto the 60, when simultaneously the steering wheel became unresponsive - all this lasted only a fraction of a second but it felt surreal. Fortunately everything started working again just in the nick of time and I avoided hitting the car in the outer lane also turning onto the freeway. I nearly $%^! my pants. Now on the freeway and my car is shaking as if it wants to stall, so I immediately got off the freeway at the next exit and pulled over to collect myself and decided that I'd take my chances driving vs. getting a tow, but that the only place I was going to be driving to was Brakes Plus on Higley. My hubby had gotten an oil change there a couple of months prior & had a positive experience so I figured I'd try there first since I'm relatively new to the area and didn't have experience elsewhere. On the drive to Brakes Plus, the navigation system began to turn on & off as if it was possessed and my car felt like it was lacking juice even though I had a full tank of gas. The whole experience was nerve racking.
So here I go walking very frantic into Brakes Plus not even knowing how to explain what is wrong. At the counter Matthew is busy with another customer but acknowledges me. When he's finished, he asks me how he can help me, & I just start babbling about what I had just went through. Matthew was patient listening to me and then suggested we drive my car around the complex so that he could observe what was occurring. I felt validated when he observed similar issues (car alarm sounding when it shouldn't have, the navigation system turning on/off while driving, car was driving sluggish). He told me they would check it out and depending on the issue they may / may not charge me the $85 inspection. Great! As long as it would be fixed I don't mind paying, but it was nice to know that if it turned out to be nothing - they wouldn't stick me with a bill. The place was busy and the lobby is just fine for waiting, so I was surprised when they also offered me a courtesy ride locally if needed and if I didn't want to wait there. I chose not to wait, but instead walked around the complex (and got my nails done! lol. :) About 90 minutes later Matthew calls & explains what was wrong and that the car is fixed and again offered me a courtesy pick up to bring me back to the shop if I needed it (it wasn't necessary for me, but still very nice to know they offer this). He indicated that they would charge the $85 and that was fine - the peace of mind knowing my car was fully checked out & that they identified & fixed the problem was worth every penny. My car has been running fine since! :) THANK YOU MATTHEW & THE BRAKES PLUS TEAM!
They exceeded my expectations with their turn around time and provided excellent customer service and care. I'm one satisfied client!
