| - I want to be very clear on this review. I once knew this hospital as Paradise Valley Hospital, PV Hospital and now the name of the Hospital is Abrazo Scottsdale Campus it located at 3929 E Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032. (40th Street & Bell Rd, Phoenix, Az). My mom fell and cracked her head open she was taken to this hospital. The gentleman that cleaned her head wound was kind and did a good job. He talked to her, he explained what he was doing which really helped her to stay calm. The nurse was kind too. The Doctor, well, I would've of liked to of wrung his neck. He was abrupt, cocky, his action were scary to appoint I wanted to take my mom and run. This Doctor took a medical staple gun, push my mom's head down and started stapling with no numbing cream, no anesthetic, when I said wait a minute why aren't you using anything to numb it, he replied that would hurt worse and continued. (I don't believe that, I just think he did not want to take the time) My poor mother was screaming and crying. Then after all that, here comes the nurse with a shot. I said, now the Doctor is going to give her pain medication? She said no, this is a tetanus shot. No one asked me when was the last tetanus shot she had, they were just going to give her one. I said, she doesn't need the shot she's had one in the last few years. (The rule is every 10 years) She threw the shot away. I said, I hope your not going to bill her insurance for that. She did not reply. I will never allow my mom to be taken to this hospital ever again. When I went to work today and shared our experience with my co-works they shared their and their family members experiences at this hospital and the stories were horrific. How can this hospital treat people like this. Changing your name doesn't improve the health service.
