  • I'm not usually one to write reviews out of frustration, but I'm beyond frustrated and want to warn my fellow Scottsdale folks to not go to this Classic Car Spa location. I received an inside detail and outside wash two weeks ago. I waited two weeks to post this review because I was trying to resolve things with the company. But after my very poor experience and my attempts to to reach out to the location manager, corporate website, and the district manager -- everyone ignored me and that's really disheartening. My biggest grievance is the tear they put in my leather passenger seat. I called the manager immediately after I noticed the tear. (10 minutes after my visit.) After I told the manager what had happened, he told me there was basically nothing he could do and that some people "try to get free stuff" out of blaming prior car damages on Classic Car Spa. I told the manager that at the very least I wanted a refund of the $45 I had spent today, and he told me he doesn't like to give refunds because he'll then have to report that to corporate. He also mentioned that his biggest priority is please corporate. (Obviously not making things right with the customers. To be fair, he was kind on the phone but didn't offer much help to me.) In addition to the tear, there were several disappointing things that happened at the location. First, the price of my wash and detail was negotiated. The gentleman I was speaking to told me he was "giving me a deal" giving me a $30 quick clean and a $14 car wash. The first price he told me was $45 for the quick clean, and he changed the price after I told him I wanted something else. I thought this was odd. Second, once the team was finished cleaning my car, no one came and told me it was finished. I sat for 30 minutes waiting and finally looked outside and noticed my car was parked. I went outside and asked a gentleman if my car was done, and he said, "Oh yeah, it's done." I don't think anyone would have ever came and got me to let me know my car was done. Lastly, the interior clean was not executed well. There were crumbs all around the driver seat and in the center console. The doors were not wiped down. Don't go to this location. Heaven forbid something happens to your car, you will never get it resolved.
