Tonight was our second visit to this restaurant. What prompted our initial visit was a recommendation from a friend, who claimed that this was the best fettuccine alfredo she had ever tasted and that the pasta was made fresh. The alfredo is good but it's no different than the one I make at home from a recipe off of Pinterest and the pasta is definitely NOT fresh. I now question everything that my friend recommends lol. Anyway, our first visit was fine even though I wasn't impressed. Now our second visit, that was bad. First of all, our waiter was mediocre. The type to do the bare minimum -no refills, never checks in to see if you need anything and seems bothered to even be there. All of the other tables around us seemed to be getting great service from other staff so we were probably just unlucky.
I ordered the wild mushroom fettuccine. The sauce was so watery that it would not stick to the pasta thus rendering it flavorless. I added copious amounts of salt in an attempt to coax some flavor out of it. I'm not sure that we'll be back any time soon but I will say that I'd rather give a local restaurant my business rather than a place like Olive Garden.
