I think I'm just used to VV's prices and organization of the store. The two Korean guys who work there when I visited were friendly as they greeted you as you entered. The one thing I can never get over is their extensive collection of fur items - which is EXCELLENT. This store organizes their purses by color (makes the items look really unappealing but that might just be me) and their clothing is not organized by size, just type, so if you find an awesome shirt, you'll be lucky if you score your size. They do, however, have a nice small collection of bow-ties that do look new but also have awful looking neon rubbery belts. I couldn't find anything great and all I saw were jerseys and huge male t-shirts.
If you are in the bloordale area, check out the huge Value Village and 69 Vintage Collective (if you're willing to pay more for thrifted items).
