  • I will NEVER go to Planet Nissan again and I advise anyone else to stay far far away. I bought my Pathfinder (brand new) at another local dealer. After having a so so experience at that dealer I decided to try Planet for my service. They were running a special for 3 oil changes for $50. I of course jumped on it. The first oil change wasn't bad didn't take too long. When my check engine light came on I called them to schedule a time to bring it in. I asked them to also check the A/C out as it was making a funny noise. They couldn't find anything wrong with the A/C and said the light came on because the sun light sensor went out. The sensor needed to be ordered so I would have to come back to have that fixed. Upon starting my car to leave guess what the A/C made the noise that they couldn't find! I turned the car off and went back in. Came back out with the service adviser and showed him. He took it back in and they figured out what was wrong, yet another part they would have to order. When the parts came in I took it back and used the shuttle because they told me it would take 4 hours to fix. About 5-6 hours later my car was ready. Oil change #2 took longer than it should have but I was in no hurry so I wasn't too upset. When I took it in for oil change #3 I also had them look at my rear cup holder that had broken. I was not told a time frame for it to be finished, but it took just over 2 hours!!!!! Unacceptable in my book. And you guessed it cup holder had to be ordered. It came in and I took it to be replaced today. I was told that it would take 1 1/2 hours TOPS. 2 hours later I see them finally take my car into the service bay!!! I also see the service adviser walk over and talk to the guy working on it. Then he walks over to me and feeds me a line of bull about how they didn't know they had to take the whole center console out to change it! Give me a break, you knew damn well what needed to be done! He tells me it will be ready asap. I waited about 20 more mins then went in to find the service manager to complain. I was given excuses and was eventually told the service manager was in a meeting and they gave me his card. I called and left a message and have yet to hear back from him. Aside from the long, long wait times the entire staff are straight up jerks if you aren't buying a car. They don't offer anything more than stale donuts and iffy coffee in the waiting area, unless you want to spend an arm and a leg in the vending machine. Seating is minimal and crowded. I will NEVER NEVER EVER go back to Planet and I hope that everyone else stays away too.
