  • I discovered Curry Corner recently when an Armenian cab driver I rode with, told me Curry Corner was his favorite restaurant and he eats there Thursday least once or twice a week. So I ate there, once, about 4 weeks ago. No white people were in there, which may be a good sign of authenticity. I had a goat kahari dish, was good!! Warning, when server asked me if I wanted garlic Naan or plain, or course I said garlic, but she did not tell me garlic cost extra over plain. The owner took the extra off my bill, cos server did not tell me. Owner told the server she mush tell people garlic naan cost more. Nothing much on the menu was over $12. Tandoori chicken looks good too. This place is for all the Indian ASU students to eat here for affordable price. I will come here again with more people and eat family style. Sept 15, 2017, I came here to eat again with two eating buddies. Prices really went up from those posted here on yelp. The menu was covered with little white stickers reflecting the price changes, I'd saty 20% more than the prices in the photos of the menus and the menu link on Yelp. I had the mixed grill for $12.50 (two kinds of chicken and seekh kabab. I told my server to make sure my chicken is not hard and dry . When it came, it was still kinda dry. The table next to me had grilled chicken too, and theirs was not as dry, they pried it open and showed me. Wild Diner buddy had chicken mahani with the cream gravy - REALLY GOOD, I think she had the best dish. I t hink I will have that next time. Other Wild Diner had Nehari Noor Jehan, which she said was spicy! The service was hit and miss from a tall white guy. We even laughed, cos he brought water glasses without straws (people at other tables all had straws). So one of us asked for straws, but later he brought only HER a straw. i said i would like a straw too, and my other eating buddy said same, so then he brought us two more straws. Later, he brought us more straws, like he forgot he already brought us straws. My chicken pieces were really large and needed a knife, so I had to ask for a knife in order to not eat like a cave man. I also had to ask for a spoon. I think this second visit - food 4 stars (I tasted the other diners choices), service 3 (cos he was friendly and not rude otherwise it would be a 2 star), tho a bit hodge podge. We arrived on a Friday at 6 pm. At 8 pm, the restaurant was totally full of people, except one booth in the corner. YOUNG people, mostly whites (as opposed to Indians).
