| - My roommate and I have been at the Enclave for roughly 4 years, only because the price stayed so good until now. When we moved in we didn't get a chance to see the actual unit till we were there and locked in. There were a couple ceiling cracks, paint chips, and what I think was a water damage stain in the main bathroom floor. The appliances hadn't been upgraded in years already, so only a couple months later they were all failing one after another. By now we're calling for maintenance every other month, and MOST of the time they get it sorted out within the week. However the most important problem is still ongoing. We're on the 3rd floor, which in the summer gets rather hot, and the AC has been slowly dying over the years because it's always 90 degrees in our place. We've called to have them look at it, and they found leaking, rotting pipes in the ceiling above the bathroom sink... then did nothing to fix them or the AC.
The walls are thin, like I can hear someone sneeze in the next apartment thin. So either the traffic behind the place, or people in the pool at 2AM (no one stops people from using it this late) will wake you up.
It's a nice location, I'll say that, but they are more interested in cramming people into apartments fast than fixing them up first. I'm set to move out this month, and despite all the problems I know exist, they've already shoved people in right after us without even looking at the place. I would insist on taking a look before being booked for a unit. Make sure it's upgraded and isn't riddled with problems before you move in. I'm not saying my experience is everyone's, but use caution so it doesn't end up being yours.
