I had my registry here, the staff was helpful for that and they seemed to have a really nice selection. Our family and friends spent a few grand on all the furniture and items we had listed on our registry. We were told we would get a coupon in the mail for being a rewards member and having the registry. About 8 months into my pregnancy I got a call from them asking had I received my coupon, I said no. My husband and I went in a few weeks later after our shower to use some gift cards and we asked about it and the salesman looked at me like I was speaking a different language and told me "it won't be sent out until right near the due date anyway." So fast forward a few months. We got a coupon a week after my due date for 15% off one item- IN STORE, with a ton of restrictions on what could be purchased. The coupon also expired within 2 weeks. Being one week postpartum, going shopping was the last thing I could physically or mentally manage. So I missed out on that. Today my husband and I went back to return an outfit we got at our shower. We were told the gift receipt "expired" and were offered 5.00 for a 27.00 outfit. How were we to know we wouldn't use the outfit if it was purchased as a shower gift- which tends to take place MONTHS before a baby comes? I don't see why they have that policy. I had to hold on to the outfit until baby came to see if it would fit and if I wanted to keep it. Babies r us expects consumers to follow overly strict deadlines as if the timeline of having a baby can be controlled. Overall, not a great shopping experience and I definitely don't feel like a valued customer. I can find most if not all these items elsewhere and for less money. Babies r us is totally overrated and not worth it!
