I thought this was interesting although ~$17 for a dozen half size donuts was a bit "pricey". The service could have been better. No warm greeting, smile, and just looked bored to be there. Then comes the part of paying.... The girl was quick to point out how to leave a tip on the screen for like 15%,20%,25% when paying. Although there is option for none, I think this is a bit forward. A basic jar on the side of the counter would be fine in my opinion if necessary and their pay is low and to be subsidized with tips. I would be interested to know the hourly wage of the workers there where pushing for tips from customers is a common practice. To be clear, I have NO problem tipping for good service like at restaurant, etc. but I look at this place like a bakery and have never been to a bakery where tipping is a common practice.
