  • The only legal system where slumlord landlords can get away with inhumane living conditions. And Perjury We went to court to fight against an eviction due to unpaid rent. The reason for not paying rent is the landlord refuses to maintain the property. Here are a few problems we are having: 1.) Mold in bathroom & kitchen 2.) Sewage leaks in front yard 3.) Structural Problems (foundations cracked & sinking) 4.) Clogged Drains (due to sewage leak) 5.) Broken Appliances 6.) Blood and feces (on the walls upon move in) 7.) Landlord refuses to give address (so we can't mail. him a letter in regards to all the problems) found a loophole in that. 8.) No fire alarms throughout house Anyways that's just a few of the problems we are having. The judge told us if we want any of those problems fixed (including all the health hazards) we have to pay rent in 24hrs after we told her we don't get paid until Thursday she still didn't care. Then she asked the landlord if he wanted us living here still or not and of course he said NO! So that means even if we did pay rent we would still have to end up leaving. Basically she gave us pointless results. She basically told to the landlord (you don't have to fix the property and make it to livable conditions) The sad thing is he's not even going to clean the house he's just going to put a sign in the window and do this all over again. I would also like to Note that the judge accepted a lie as evidence to go along with that HIPAA violation she accepted makes you wonder where she went to school at. Shes a very uneducated judge. "Talk About An Unjustice System" there was no justice served just another slumlord getting his money and not doing crap! The messed up part is he has 20 properties and can afford to fix all the problems just refuses to. Also the only legal system I know where a landlord can lie in court and get away with it. She never even asked for proof. Also the only court system I know that will except a HIPAA violation as evidence Thank you Nevada's legal justice system! For Nothing! Also a big thanks for not doing your job legally! It's more like the Nevada corrupted system! (Pictures are below also there's more on my Yelp!) THIS IS THE EVIDENCE THE JUDGE REFUSED TO SEE. Its fine because now everybody will see it and know how corrupted the legal system really is.
