The Residence is indeed a beautifully built building, you'd think you were moving to Xanadu. No such luck. What you see is NOT what you get and WAY overpaid for. Management amongst the worst we've ever dealt with and the NOISE! They tell everyone it's so quiet there you can hear a pin drop. Meanwhile, the building is shaped in a "U" and if you are in one of the many apartments that face the inner courtyard with shops and (gulp) two restaurants (one gets early, VERY EARLY deliveries with refrigeration trucks who blast their engines and keep them running until everything is offloaded. Then you have the blasting horns from the people trying to get a parking space at the "Village of South Park" (oh, the idiots can't read "one way" signs, so watch your "A". I'd say a great place to live if your rent is being paid by corporate and you are out of town most of the time. But don't forget to buy a good set of sound cancelling earplugs with an iPod attached! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! You also don't need to deal with the drunks coming out of (mostly) Chuy's (their drinks are cheaper than Cowfish's).
