| - First, let me say I love everything about TFM. So much so that I drove 45 minutes to check out this specific store. My review is based on the intrastore environment and the people. When I walked in, no one greeted me. The store was SO DARK that I thought the lights were off. There was NOT enough room to wheel the standard cart through many of the aisles. Team members were standing around blocking the aisles. I walked by numerous team members, no acknowledgement until bulk foods (and that person was not in "uniform" so I am not really certain she was an employee. Went to the bakery and deli counters, no acknowledgement, THREE TIMES. Two manager types were discussing something between the meat dept and produce; no acknowledgement. While I spent a significant amount of money there--probably 10 times as much as the average purchase--none of it from bakery, deli, or meat. I was significantly grossed out by the "seafood bar" -- seafood just sitting out in a bar at 10 in the morning. The deli glass was absolutely FILTHY. The asparagus looked like it came from WalMart. Bakery goods were not marked to TFM standards, unmarked, and no effort to even bag the bread. Bakery sale--pound cakes--none of the flavors on sale were even available. No mini-canolis; the large looked like the shells where a week old (dark). Lastly, it freaked me out that a marked police car was sitting outside of the store the whole time.
Needless to say, I won't be back to this specific store.
