Tao, like most Vegas nightclubs, is most fun when you have a table...especially when that table is comped.
I have been to Tao the least out of all the nightclubs in Vegas. This can mostly be attributed to their music format which is the hip hop heavy "open format". I am more of an edm/house music fan so that generally keeps me other places.
I was a winner of an Absolut vodka contest and was able to experience the club from the prime vip area in the middle of the club. Table setup is similar to others albeit the seats are rather worn out. The waitresses were nice and along with the male bartenders, as on top of things as other Tao Group venues.
My main gripe is that security was letting ladies into the area that did not have VIP wristbands...bottle rats. They were just there to try and mooch off the tables.
Granted most of us in this section were a part of the free party so it's not like we paid, BUT there is a thing called class that anyone male or female should possess. The taking off of shoes is nasty as is using hands in the ice bowl. And don't get offended when you get read for doing both. SECURRRITY! Come get these people.
The other gripe is the restroom situation. There was only one open on the night we attended and it was tiny causing a long wait even for the guys.
