  • My wife and I have been coming to Centennial Hills Animal Hospital for 6 years since we moved to Las Vegas. Like many other reviews have said we've seen the constant change in reception, kennel staff, and doctors. We've for the most part always been happy, and never requested one doctor until Dr. Coulson. I'll admit the first time I met her in early August I judged her for looking so young, and talking so fast for my deaf ears. My wife joked with her that I wanted a young doctor to be easy on the eyes. She spayed our newest puppy Bella, and has seen our other dog for ear infections, allergies, vaccines, and a dental surgery. I've never felt rushed and always feel like she has my pets best intentions and explains the price and why she wants to run certain tests. I once asked her about an allergy supplement I read about on google, and she admitted she wasn't familiar with it but would do some research and let me know. I was shocked to have a doctor be honest with me, and follow through on what she said. I called once and the receptionist told me she was in surgery, she made sure to call me back that afternoon. When our chihuahua started to get fat and we had ruled out thyroid disease Dr. Coulson sat down and calculated a weight loss calorie diet including keeping a few his favorite daily treats! Most recently I came in for a recheck on my older pup (originally seen by a male doctor, unsure of which). When I asked Dr. Odonaghue she seemed annoyed and was "unfamiliar with the case" and told me I should schedule an appointment with the same doctor next time. Dr. Mckinistry I have also seen for my dogs' recurrent ear infections. She sure did clear his infection up, and was very polite. However she never once told me what she was going to do besides look in his ears. She came back with all these medications. One she put in his ear, and a medication and ear cleaner to go home. I went to check out and my bill was almost $200. I don't fault her, I didn't ask, but was shocked at how expensive it was. If Dr. Coulson were to be gone that day in case of emergency I would still recommend Dr. Mckinistry. I haven't had the opportunity to meet any other of the current doctors, and unfortunately probably won't if Dr. Coulson stays. The only fault I could find is that Dr. Coulson is a packers fan. But just this once I'll say it. Go Pack Go! Thank you Dr. Coulson, and the rest of Centennial Hills for always giving top notch care.
