  • It is a great place to volunteer at as well as to adopt from. I have done both :-) For volunteers, LOH has a very thorough orientation program, which shows their commitment to the health and safety of animals (and people involved). They take children volunteers, too. For adoption, they are most helpful in finding a good match and educating us to ensure that the animals have happy forever home. I'm so happy we discovered LOH!!
