I'm writing this review about the salon & a particular stylist named Jinny.
Saturday was my birthday and I had stopped in at Primp & Blow across the street. (I wrote a separate review about that experience on Primp & Blow's Yelp page) It was 7:30 on Saturday evening. Primp & Blow closed at 8pm. Even though there were 4-5 employees there, they couldn't fit me in. So, I ran over to Ulta with the hope that someone would still be available to do my hair.
That's when I met Jinny. She was working alone in the salon at Ulta (which is open until 9pm on Saturdays) and she was HAPPY to do my hair!
I didn't ask how long she's been a hair stylist, but I could tell Jinny's been doing hair for some time. She's very good. I especially appreciated that Jinny explained what products she was using on my hair, why she had chosen those particular products and how she was styling my hair.
Jinny also gave me some helpful hints on how to make it easier for me to do my hair myself at home.
I'm happy that I went to Ulta and met Jinny. I'll go back to see her again~ next time for a cut. I'm thrilled that Jinny did what Primp & Blow could not, or would not do.
