  • Lessons for everyon going to DMV in southern NV 1) Go the DMV on North Decatur or on Carey. 2) Bring all your paperwork... even if you think I'm not going to need it.. you'll need it. 3) Finally and this one is important people.... get there between 8-10 in the morning. The earlier the better. This way you get there when everyone is dropping kids off at school, going to school and are at work. I have been to this DMV 5 time and the longest I have ever been here was 45 minutes and that was for registration and new D/L.
