This was a cool event. 3 stamps this year out of 6 in order to get a free burrito/bowl. The beer offered was over priced though. $7 for a small cup that's about 1/2 cup of beer. At one booth, you could get samples of all their beer for $7 which seemed worth it. I had an $8 margarita which felt like it was worth the price since I was given so much. The park was also dog friendly, there were so many friendly dogs there!
The booth lines for stamps seemed long but they actually went pretty quick. It took us maybe less than 10 minutes per line to get through and get our stamps.
It was pretty chill though! $5 for parking (which didn't take very long to get in or out of), there were samples of food/drinks and stuff you could eat. Though this year, there wasn't anything special that chipotle already sold in their restaurant (and no guacamole on sale except for at the guac booth :( ).
The only problem was it was too windy! It's obviously not the festivals fault but when the wind started picking up we noticed people started securing the tents down more to make sure nothing happened, which I really appreciated. But it still made us leave early in case the weather turned worse. (Update: it did turn worse. We left right on time. The festival was evacuated two hours later because the weather was just that bad. They shut down the event after there were reports of lightning. A man was even hit by lightning while riding a horse in Buckeye. There'll be a lot of angry people but it's better to have angry people rather than someone hurt by a storm.)
It's fun! It's fun for a a day trip if you go early and avoid the crowds. It was my first year so I definitely don't mind coming back for next year.
