  • First time yelpin but this i made an account just for this store. I love this store, they may hire mentals but damn good service. I'm visiting from manhattan, and we do not have Vons with this great quality. The workers especially! I had the pleasure of going to this store a few days in a row and the cashier Cat really made my stay here in henderson amazing. The first day I was looking for a couple items: sparkling ice water, rat traps, string cheese and of course condoms. This guy knew where everything was and I was in the store then out in a flash! The next day I came in I saw that Cat was working again so I decided to go to his line. To my surprise he remembered who I was and we started chatting. I love it when the cashier interacts with the customer instead of working like a robot. After chatting a while i realized that this guy must have a mental disorder of some sort because he was randomly blurting out odd sounds like HEH and BOIST. He was also babbling about his cat tucker and dairy queen he would just go on and on I loved it. shoutout to mira keel za zelf. My grandma's granddaughter's grandpa is suffering from dementia so I know what it is like being around these type of people. Anyways on my last day the lines were very long I saw that Cat was working so i decided to get in his line again! A fresh cashier came out and offered to ring me up (because of the huge lines) but I said no thanks I will wait for Cat to help me. I would wait an extra 5-10 minutes just to get Cat as my cashier he is awesome! He is quick, friendly, and hes like the son i never had. I will also be calling Vons Corporate to try and get this man a raise well deserved. It is nice to see Vons support the mental community by hiring Cat and I hope other Vons follow in their footsteps. Vons has my respect forever and this is an ideal Vons. You need groceries, shop here.. RONALD HOOTMAN OUT! gvhs ramp
