  • Severely Disappointed. I'm in town for the wknd from Chicago (which also has less than stellar nail salons), and hoped to find a decent place .. .not even a GOOD place.. but a DECENT place. I had low expectations and even those weren't met. 1. When I walked in, the smell of acetone was so strong it started burning your nostrils and eyes. 2. The selection of gel colors (and regular) is ok.. Good enough. 2. I dont know the name of the lady that did my gel mani / pedi. She did a pretty good job scrubbing for pedi, but was so careless and inconsiderate when cutting nails (on both hands and feet)... I told her i wanted just filing and more square shape. She cut me down to the nubs only!! It took me 3 wks to grow my nails out (its' a feat for me) and she just destroyed them in one fell swoop!! Finally the nail polish color was uneven and chipped that evening itself!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
