  • Stayed at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas for 4 nights in the Gold Tower. For convenience I would recommend the Gold Tower. Not too far from Fremont Street and just a few steps from the Casino floor. Stayed in a room on the 11th floor facing the pool with 2 double-size beds. Wished the beds were Queen size but worked out great. Didn't have any issues with noise. Ended up having a Casino Host for my stay. VIP Check-in and the VIP Line Pass were terrific! The Casino Host was able to comp several entertainment and general costs. Made me feel really welcome. I had dinner at the Chart House and lunch at the Claim Jumper. See my comments on these 2 restaurants in my other reviews. The room was very nice and modern in style. The bathroom was small, but during the refurbish I am sure they didn't have the option to expand it. So it is probably the same size when the Hotel was built but now looks really great. The casino in the Golden Nugget is the best casino in Downtown Las Vegas / Fremont Street. Great slot games, casino is clean and well kept, and a fun atmosphere. I can't wait until my next trip back!
