I had read some of the reviews and even know some where negative I saw lots of positive ones as well. I will say that I agree totally with another yelper on here that the Aquarium is the saving grace of this place. Many of the little critters cages in glass like the monkeys are bare, small and the animals do not look happy. The squirrel was going crazy and its friend just sat on a "branch" looking sad. There is no live plants just painted walls so no wonder these poor things are not happy. The white tigers just paced along the fence because it's WAY too small for them.
They really need to get larger cages and room for these animals. Our son who is 13 said they look so sad, that hurt my heart. I agree that they need to step up and improve the conditions for the animals that are there and yes, TONS of birds, I have never seen so many in a Zoo. The train and boat ride were both out of order which would have been nice to know prior to us going as I was on their website that morning.
I will give compliments to Dillons and the staff, Jessica our waitress was awesome and very helpful! The food was also reasonable for the price.
I hope they clean up and make the conditions more plants and earth friendly for the animals there and clean out the lighted signs that have cockroaches in them :(
Last thing, the signs tell about the animals are faded and located where you cant read them very well.
Over all a nice day and great Aquarium! :)
