  • Don't waste your time If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. Note before u read I am not mad that they wouldn't budge on the price. The business they run in relation to cost is their business. But you will see in my update at the very bottom that their business practises in relation to price, negotiation and knowing their product is pitiful What I want people to realize when reading this is the treatment of customers or soon to be customers. Imagine how they will treat you after you purchase a car there and how they will honour the promises to you. There's a lot to be said about the professionalism of a company even during negotiations Review Went 3 days ago to purchase a 2015 Toyota RAV4. (2 year old car) $30500 list price. Test drove the car. Sat down and began negotiations. The salesmen (navid Besharati) started with the sales pitch. He was maybe 22 years old. He was out of his league. Salesman told me a guy offered $25000 earlier to them and was turned away. So to be fair I started with $26500 not incl tax. Good start..... Salesman cried poor and tried to build rapport with me because we were same background. He went to his sales manager who looked to be a greasy mid 30s guy who drank to much of his own kool aid that day. (If u watched true lies and remember the car salesman - that was the attitude) The Used car manager (Chris Catsanos) sent back a NO to offer. I went up to 27000 not inc tax. Salesman moaned and complained how low that was. He said that magic number was 28000 I said I I think the car is worth 27,000. I gave him my credit card to show how serious I was. He went back to sales manager and 2 minutes later came back showed me a crumbled piece of paper and said this is what he thinks of your offer, very professional? We walked out. The next morning I came back. Spoke to another salesman and new day shift used car manager (Kiron Singh) thinking maybe last nights guys were a one off. They knew who I was from yesterday (which is a sales tactic I have learned) and i offered the 28000 that the sales man navid made the night before and said that was the magic number. They refused to honour that. When I told Kiron about the crumpled paper from the day before he offered no apologizes. I offered $29,000 and they said no so. Kiron staid that everyday they reduce the price by $100 and that's the business practice (good to know). I walked out. I went to the Toyota dealership down the street and bought a 2016 RAV4 with 10,000 km after-tax cheaper than what Richmond Hill would have cost me...... My opinion Richmond hill Toyota sales staff and used car manager have no class - no professionalism - they don't know their product - No curtesy. Imagine having to deal with these guys after u buy a car and problems arise. They wouldn't give 2 shits in my opinion They claim to be a high volume dealer. But here's a note, all dealerships are high volume. It's all a sales pitch. Don't waste your time with them. The used car department will hustle you and cry poor. There was no customer service there. Crumbling up a piece of paper with a good offer is not professional. These guys should not be working in that industry. Go to another dealership Read the reviews of people's experiences in yelp. One thing I did was call mr. Ross the general manager and explain what had happened and that I bought a car at another dealership . He did agree with me that the way I was treated should not have happened. I don't know what he did about it but they lost a customer for life and I will refer anyone to never waste there time
