  • Ontario Spring Water Sake Company is a sake distillery in the distillery district. There are tours in the building, but I just came to the small bar area with my friends. They have a selection of ~5-7 sakes and 2-3 sake cocktails. You can also order a flight tasting, with 3 sakes. It's a pretty chill experience, but there isn't a very comprehensive menu so it's hard to justify frequent visits. Definitely worth coming once. The venue is very small for the bar area... maybe seating 6-7? The host goes on to describe the different sakes and why they taste the way they do. I found this interesting. She was very nice. Ordered: Low temperature distilled - much sweeter and fruitier, my favorite! Also less alcohol content Unpasteurized sake - interesting, it has more complex flavor? Pasteurized sake - similar tasting to the unpasteurized sake, but strong and more dry feel Full body sake - very strong at 17%, less flavor, more kick
