I had a couple of rooms booked at this hotel and wanted to have my 2 yr old daughters birthday there. We had about 15 other families that were also going to join us and stay at the hotel as well. I have stayed here many times before and was wondering if they could store a birthday cake for me in their freezer. I spoke to the Food and Beverage Manager and proceeded to tell him about the celebration and what I was asking for. He said that they couldn't store in their freezers and we couldn't bring it down to the pool since it was against policy. I was fine with that but then he decided to also tell me their guest policy which was that we could not invite or have anyone at the pool who was not staying at the hotel. I was blasted by his statement because in no way would we do that and all of our guests were staying there. Did he think I was uncle Jethro and bringing the Beverly Hillbillies? What the hell? I didn't know why the Food and Beverage Manager would be explaining the guest policy to someone who was asking about storing a cake. I think he made an assumption that was totally incorrect. I have cancelled all of my rooms and will inform my party goers to do so as well. Terrible training for a manager and maybe he should think before he speaks. NEVER will I stay at the Resort again.
