I've been coming here the last five years. Every visit is the same unless you find that once in a blue moon visit where you're the first in. Even so, opening barbers take 15 minutes to setup their stations and equipment.
Why have they not incorporated a waiting system? They're walk-in only. No appointment. Sure... Wouldn't be so awful if you didn't have to sit around for two hours for a cut. Try a number tab system for each Barber. If your number is called and you don't respond in under 5 minutes, back in queue and next up. Quite simple... That way you don't end up sitting around for two hours bunched up with my neckbeard hipster brothers. At least you can go and run errands instead of wasting time.
They recently renovated the place to include more barbers and passed on the cost to the consumers which is quite distasteful. They've increased their prices by $10 in a span of one year. From $16-21-$26. Yes they have to be competitive but their execution was poor. Many other customers and friends feel the same way. We paid for renovation. Service and wait times remain unchanged.
Some of their barbers are mediocre. They're equivalent to $6-8 cuts from asian barbers.
Nigel is good, but quite chatty with waiting customers which adds an extra 10 minutes to your cut. Tino needs to up his game. Slow, outdated styles and talks way too much to others. Adds about an extra 15-20 minutes. The pale kid who looks like young will Poulter is another mediocre Barber. There's no finesse in his cuts, it's like he's a mechanical hair cutting robot. All his cuts are the same and he usually forgets a step or two. Teddy seems to be the best, good cuts and doesn't waste your time by chatting up full conversations with others. He tries hard and you can see it in his work.
