  • I am a member and walk the track several times a week. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are many workers around keeping the place clean. Lots of classes are given in the gym and people participating in the classes seem to be totally engaged and enjoying themselves. I like this place. OK, it's not trendy, it needs refurbishing, big-time, but it is well maintained and very convenient. I'm not sure where funding comes from to upkeep the YMCA but staff are doing the best they can with the resources they have. I feel very comfortable working out here and I hope the YMCA West Shore Family Branch continues to provide a safe, clean and inviting place to exercise for people all around my community.
