  • I was really impressed with our visit today. Gorgeous fall day and wanted to bring my 16-month old son out for an outing while we visit his grandparents in Calgary. So much to see and he loved every minute. I still can't get over just how up close and personal you can get with the animals! It was not terribly busy today so we really had the place to ourselves. On top of that, all the 'farmers' that work there are so friendly and lovely. Offering to show my son the new bunnies or trying to rouse the sows for him to see. We were there for over two hours and still didn't see all the animals! Great afternoon out and value for money in my opinion. If I lived in Calgary I would happily get a season's pass and come weekly to check out the progress of Patrick the calf or the adorable piglets sleeping in the sun. The staff seem to really love the animals and are excited to show their love with the kids.
