  • I have been to Patachou in Rosedale before but it's been some time. I've been craving a good croissant for a while now and was excited to spot this location while out walking my dog. I lived in France for a year so I know the delights of a good pastry, my favourite being pain au chocolat. While I don't think there will ever be a comparable pastry in Canada, mostly because I've probably put my French pastries on a pedistool, Patachou is my go to place. I will go again for the food but not for the service which was completely devoid of any emotions. For some reason the person helping me seemed to be in some hurry though there appeared to be only 3 leisurely people in the cafe, so the jury's still out. I also thought the to go bag, a brown paper bag was super boring. With such a cool logo, you should stamp your bags or at least have white bags, no?. Anywho, I will go again and see about trying all the other tasty treats! Try the pain au chocolat ;)
