This is a review for brunch. I have never been for dinner or drinks, and probably won't. We took our friend to Meat and Potatoes for a birthday brunch and were less than impressed with the brunch. First, they do not have a milk frother and only offer coffee. That would be ok IF they had black tea (which they do not, or did not, the weekend we went, which is absurd to not have on hand--go to the CVS across the street and get some when you run out). So coffee or bust which seems awfully strange for a "top" brunch place in Pittsburgh. The lack of tea or a latte definitely ruined my brunch. The food was meh. I ordered a regular eggs/bacon/homefries and it came out cold. The others ordered the fried chicken friend pork and it was a "big pile of blah" (direct quote from the eater). The bloody mary bar was like something in a college bar. Not worth it. It was very expensive and very busy, so the service was poor as well. We kept having to flag down a waiter to get service. Should have gone to the neighbourhood greasy spoon.
