| - The bad reviews are spot on. The positive reviews (on FB anyway, NONE here on Yelp as you can see) may mostly be from personal friends, I suspect, because somehow over the course of a few months it went from her having less than 20 total reviews to her having many more and practically ALL of them are 5 star? I cannot believe what happened to me regarding my appt today. I have been seeing her for the past year, this was going to be my 5th or 6th appt with her. I had my appt originally scheduled for MON this week, but had a lot of unpleasant drama occuring in my life and it gave me stress and a brain fart, I was thinking my appt was TUES, getting it confused with another appt I had, so I missed it. I felt bad for this and apologized, and of course had planned to tip her more today for missing the appt, even though, rescheduling a few days later still gets her the $$ around the same amount of time, I mean come on. At any rate, my appt today was for 1:30, I was a BIT and I do mean a BIT late. As in, I was at her door at 1:32. yea, 2 mins lol. SHE WAS GONE. Another tenant there told me that Phylicia told her I "did not show up." Just HOW FAST did she take off? I have a feeling what ACTUALLY happened was she wrote my appt time down wrong as 1pm. It was definitely 130. I have the texts to prove it. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. She could have double checked herself, or CALLED ME gees! Again, I am sorry that for the FIRST TIME, I forgot an appt with you on MON Phylicia. It was NOT for a petty reason and I WOULD have made up for it. I also work by appt and I know how it is. But this is unacceptable behavior from you. I will be finding another stylist. Furthermore, it should be noted, that at my second to last appt with her, as I was showing up for an appt, so was another lady who thought she was scheduled at the same time as me. Phylicia tried to blame this confusion on the client, but I can now plainly see it is her not keeping good track of her schedule. And another thing...for some reason, most of the times I have tried scheduling with her, she asks me who I am. I have always had the same phone number. Save your clients names in your phone, dear, at least the ones who have booked with you more than twice, my goodness. It is a basic courtesy to know their names. Plus, I always say "This is Tiffany" in the first text, every time I begin msging her (example, "this is Tiffany, when is your next opening for the upcoming week, something to that effect). I mean, ditzy much? I am seriously livid because I am in need of a cut SO BAD. You lost $50 for not sticking around today. And my appts always take just under 30 mins of your time, wash and style included! I normally tip $5-7 on the $35 you charge, but was going to do $15 today since I missed the MON appt. Which btw is ALMOST 50%!! I am a good person who treats my professional clients right. And if I screw up like I did missing my MON appt, I take accountability. You need to do the same. WOW
