| - The place was busy on a Thursday night, but restaurants should be able to cope with a good crowd. Not so with the Blue Adobe. Waiter was slow getting to our table to greet us, very slow. Since he was so slow we decided to order drinks and dinner at the same time for fear that once our drinks would arrive we might never see him again. Once ordered the food took almost 40 minutes to arrive, three of our orders anyway. God knows where the fourth order was. One of the three that arrived was the wrong order, so it had to go back. 15 minutes later the correct 3rd order arrived, but the 4th was still nowhere to be found. After another 15 minutes, the 4th order, mine, came out. The food was well presented, but the veggies on the plate were cold and the chicken was possibly the driest, toughest, most overdone piece of chicken breast I have ever had the misfortune of eating. I ate about half and decided it was just nor worthy of being called food and quit eating it. Once my order did arrive we asked the waiter for the check right away as he was one of the most inattentive waiter in Phoenix. The check did come out immediately. Overall a disgusting dining experience. Will never return. ON another note, my fellow diners said their food tasted good.
