My consistent gripe with book stores recently is the same. Why are there no longer comfy places to sit and read a book? I realize that it's not a library and that they actually want you to purchase things, but I always remember book stores being a little more relaxing and a little less commercial. Dunno. Also, the book that I wanted isn't out in paperback yet so I had to get a $30 hardback. Perhaps not the fault of Barnes and nobles, but annoying nonetheless. Lastly, the guy who was working the customer service counter, as well as the girl who rang me up where both very pleasant.
