  • To be honest, the dinner that I had here was quite good (the satay bowl with spicy almond sauce), but it is not deserving of 5 stars. The dessert I had definitely earns 5 stars (lemon cashew coconut square), but I am primarily giving this place 5 stars because the atmosphere far surpasses anywhere I have ever eaten. The staff here were beyond amazing. It seemed like they cared about the well-being of everyone rather than just worrying about the quality of their service. I have never experienced an ambiance like this at a restaurant before. I didn't even realize it was noisy inside until I was almost finished my dinner because I was so at peace! Additional good point: They provided blankets to those sitting outside on the patio. I only had the opportunity to eat here once, but it was such a wonderful experience that I would recommend that anyone that visits Calgary must try the Coup.
