This store is really treasure hunt and I enjoy the search. If I'm looking for high end home furnishings and decor, I know not to look here. But when I'm looking for decorative home accessories, cheap but stylish storage options, and random odds and ends at decent prices, I always stop at Homegoods.
Some of the sections seem a little hard to maneuver through with items haphazardly crammed on shelves and furniture randomly placed on the floor. I've seen a lot damaged pieces (upholstered furniture with rips or stains, chipped wood, cracked vases, etc.) so you really need to look closely at an item before committing to it. The line can be a bit of a pain, and the employees aren't always the friendliest or most helpful.
Come with some time on your hands to browse. You might not find that hidden gem you're looking for but if you do, it's usually worth it!
