| - I've been here several times, mostly for dinner and takeout, and I've been very impressed!
There is a cool vibe in Leroy Fox- neat décor and good music.
Food wise, I've gotten a couple different things and I've been happy with my selection every time.
For appetizers, I'm a big fan of the Zucchini fries- lightly fried zucchini with Boom Boom sauce, which is a spicy creamy aioli type sauce. It's not great for takeout, but delicious at the restaurant. I also like their Fried Green Tomatoes, which has some sort of goat cheese in between in tomato which leaves a nice flavor variety with the saltiness of the fried tomato and the intensity of the goat cheese.
Most of the time, I get the Elizabeth to eat, which is their chicken tenders with a side. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Nashville style, which gives it a hot and spicy fried taste. I've been to Nashville and I would say that it's on par with what I've had there. The sides are great as well, the Cajun Fries and the Cheesy grits are my personal favorites. They have a large variety of sides which is much appreciated when you want something different.
The service is also pretty good. I have had some trips where it's a little slow, but overall the wait staff is friendly.
The only downside is that I wasn't overly impressed with their brunch, but I'll have to give it another try.
Great spot in Cotswold to enjoy some fried chicken!
