  • I was first introduced to Didadi by a friend who happened to drop by one day. She casually mentioned us getting our nails done together one day knowing that I am EXTREMELY picky with my nails because of my personal experience as a nail technician. NAILS: Gavin blew me away with his professionalism and more importantly perfectionism when it came to my nail shape and refill. I get UV gel + Shellac ($40) and at Didadi, no powder gels are used. The UV gel is actually a gel. Abundance of shellac colours, however I noticed their regular polish selection isn't as vast. Disclaimer: Gavin is the only one who's ever done my nails so I can't speak on the quality of the other techs but I do notice that all have equal amounts of regulars. ENVIRONMENT: Clean, bright salon with elegant interior design. Always a good movie on their TVs which is an added bonus. Their pedicure tubs are jet-less and look like barrels which are unique. My only feedback is that their time management isn't always the greatest so remember to book appointments if you're visiting on weekends and even then, prepare to wait a bit more. I've just learned to give myself some extra time if I have anything to do after.
