  • "Crazy" is one way to put it... crazy that you can transport yourself into a full on eco friendly place just by stepping into Loco. It appears it's their second location in the city, and boy is it cool. There is too much to take in on one visit. What you will notice right away is it's a zero waste ecological grocery store. In a nutshell, you need to bring your own containers (for most items), then they remove its weight from what you buy. Pretty neat eh, and a much needed concept to help reduce all the waste people create from consumption. Not a 'soapbox' speech, just everyone should check this out to be aware and learn what the options are in the sphere of environmentally advanced options. They have everything from; bulk maple syrup, to a nice selection of legumes, colourful enough looking fresh vegetables; to loose teas, jars of spices, and buckets of bulk flours; plus cleaning products, even hygiene products. Therefore, a pretty wide range of useful edible and household items, and amazingly all set in a small shop at the back of a cafe. Note: They don't sell meat, and you really need to bring your own containers for most items. That's kind of the point in the nutshell I mentioned up top. 'Wink'.
