They have milked me since signing and, unfortunately, there's no escape until my lease ends. There are fees, on fees, on fees. There's even a "processing fee" of $40 to pay online! I asked a property manager what the other "service fees" were for and I was literally told, "it's just fluff". If you make the mistake of doing business with this company, please take note that they manage your electricity and water bills. Get in contact with the actual providers to ensure American Homes 4 Rent aren't charging you unnecessary fees. Please notice that I do not leave negative reviews. I would rather boost a great company's reputation than damage a company, but this company should be held accountable for their slimy ways. If you do an ounce of research, you will see that there are several pages online dedicated to dissuading potential customers of American Homes 4 Rent from becoming tenants. I'm serious when I say stay away. Don't even consider it!
